Day 1
Fly to San José, Costa Rica
Upon arrival to the San José airport, you will be met by your guide to transfer to the hotel. Overnight at Hotel Real Intercontinental.
Day 4
At Tortuguero
Tortuguero National Park visit, originally protected as a major nesting beach for the Atlantic Green Turtle. This park preserves 21000 hectares of tropical rainforest in its natural state. Silently paddling through the jungle lagoons and waterways, searching for wildlife, listening to “Jungle sounds” makes this experience memorable. Afternoon visit the town of Tortuguero. Overnight at Pachira Hotel.
Day 7
Arenal Volcano / Monteverde Cloud Forest
Start your adventure immediately after breakfast. Boat /Jeep from Arenal Lake to Monteverde. Afternoon visit to Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. Explore for the famous Resplendent Quetzal, the Bell Bird, or the Black faced Solitaire. Overnight at the Unique El Establo hotel.
Day 10
Back Home
Our guide will pick you up in your hotel to take you to Juan Santamaria International Airport, approximately 2.5 hours before your flight´s scheduled departure time
Day 2
Coffee Tour
Morning departure to Café Britt´s farm, where professional actors guide you in a colorful journey. You will learn how coffee is grown and selected. Experience the harvesting, roasting, and cupping process. Sample espresso, cappuccino, ice coffee, and of course buy some and take home with you. Overnight at Hotel Real Intercontinental.
Day 5
Tortuguero / Arenal
Transfer by boat and then by bus back to Guapiles where you will have lunch. After lunch, we will drive to the Arenal Volcano area. Overnight at the famous Tabacon Resort.
Day 8
At Monteverde
After breakfast, get ready for your zip line Adventure. Enjoy the forest canopy with your local guides. Free afternoon to explore the town of Santa Elena on your own. Overnight at El Establo Hotel.
Day 3
San José / Tortuguero
Morning pick-up to take you to a scenic drive through the amazing Braulio Carrillo National Park. Stop by a roadside restaurant for breakfast. Then make your way to the Caribbean dock. Enjoy the boat ride through the exotic jungle of Tortuguero National Park. Arrive at Pachira Lodge in time for lunch. Free afternoon to relax or explore the area with your guide. Overnight at Pachira Lodge
Day 6
Arenal- Hanging bridges & Hot Springs
After breakfast, depart to Mistico Hanging Bridges where you will enjoy exploring the forest with your guide. In the afternoon enjoy Tabacon Hot Springs, the most famous thermal springs of the area. They also have the best SPA!!!! Overnight at Tabacon Resort.
Day 9
Return to San José
Our transportation will pick you up at 9:00 A.M. to take you back to San José. Overnight at the majestic Grano de Oro Hotel.
