Day 1: San José morning pick-up

Cross through the rain forest of Braulio Carrillo National Park. Arrive at the Tortuguero River rest stop, gift shop, restaurant. Transfer from bus to boat. Enjoy the boat ride down the river through the exotic jungle of Tortuguero National Park.
Arrive at your hotel in time for lunch. Afternoon tour to the small beachfront town of Tortuguero with all its Caribbean charm. See gift shops, restaurants, walk on the beach. Just relax while exploring the area with your guide.
Day 2: Breakfast at the hotel.
Start your day with a guided waterway tour. Silently paddling through the jungle lagoons and waterways, searching for wildlife, listening to “Jungle Sounds” make this experience memorable. Tortuguero National Park is home to at least 734 species of plants and 442 species of birds.
The number of animals is estimated at 138 species. Reptiles number 58 species. This is the jungle, jungle. Originally protected as a major nesting beach for the Atlantic Green Turtle. This park preserves 21000 hectares of tropical rainforest in its natural state.
From July to September optional beach turtle nesting tour along the 22-mile Tortuguero Beach.
Day 3: Departure Day. Breakfast at the hotel.
Depart by boat to the Tortuguero River Rest Stop. Travel by bus to San Jose or connect with your next destination such as Arenal Volcano Area Resorts. Lunch included.
